This Level 3 Certificate in Data Analytics is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of various data analytics tools and techniques that are crucial in today’s data-driven business landscape.
Course Duration and Schedule
•Duration: 16 weeks.
•Schedule: 2.5 hour Sessions will run every weekday, Monday to Friday (9.30am-3pm). Specific session times to be confirmed.



Entry Requirements
- Level 3 courses are available to people aged 19 or over, which means you'll qualify if you were born on or before 31 August 2005.
- You must live in an area of England that is not a devolved authority (we can help you check this).
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Meet residency requirements (we will help you check this).
What you'll be studying
Data Fundamentals
The learner will understand where common sources of data can be found, the purpose and function of data formats and their importance for analysis. They will also understand the purpose and function of data architecture and visualisation for a specific business requirement.
Google Sheets
The learner will understand visualisation tools, communication methods and the characteristics that inform the appropriate method. The learner will be able to apply visualisation techniques and communicate data and results to the appropriate audience for a specific business requirement.
Power BI
Learners will learn and use the powerful business analytics tool developed by Microsoft for a variety of purposes, from data visualisation and data integration to understanding how to collaborate and share reports and dashboards with others.
Database Management & SQL
Learners will gain a knowledge and understanding of SQL for data analysis with its various functions and abilities – learners will retrieve, manipulate, transform and filter information ready to query data for the purpose of a given task.
Microsoft Excel
The learner will be able to collect, format, blend, link and save datasets from multiple sources. They will be able to prepare data for analysis as well
as test and assess confidence in the data and its integrity for a specific business requirement. The learner will be able to apply appropriate statistical methods and filter data for analysis to support a specific business requirement.
Python
Learners will learn python’s programming language to clean and manipulate data, identifying data trends and patterns.
