Our Level 3 Pastoral Support course is ideal for anyone planning to work, or progress their career, in a school or educational environment. The NCFE Cache Level 3 Pastoral Support is a knowledge based qualification. You won’t require any classroom experience but we recommend volunteering at a local school to help boost your CV.
If you’d like to get a job as a pastoral support officer but don’t any qualifications or experience this Level 3 Pastoral support course and some volunteering will put you in a much stronger position when applying for teaching assistant jobs. The Level 3 t salary is higher than at Level 2Pastoral Support so this qualification is also an excellent choice for Level 2 Pastoral Support to help improve your salary / pay scale.

With our Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification, youll be able to progress into a range of roles and advance your career in working with children and young people. With a solid understanding of learning support work, youll have the knowledge needed to pursue a teaching assistant specialism such as SEN responsibilities, or be able to progress into a position as a HLTA after further study and with support from your school.
Having your Level 3 qualification will give you an advantage over unqualified school support staff when applying for jobs, and will help to demonstrate your knowledge of the school environment.
