Skills Bootcamps in Education
What are the Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps offer free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks. They give people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and we’re hoping to make these available to all eligible adults, within the Greater Manchester area in August 2023.
These Bootcamps will be available to both new recruits and existing staff of GM schools. The majority of the programme will be delivered remotely online and led by live trainers.
In order to develop the curriculum and Bootcamps, we are seeking collaboration with four Greater Manchester schools and Early Years Providers. This could involve participating in two one-hour Zoom sessions with our development team in April 2023 or taking on a more involved role – both options are welcome!
If our submission is successful, the four participating schools and early year providers will be our first partners at the start of academic year 2023/24.
