Freelance IQA Level 3 - Digital

Freelance Role Details

Payment:
The payment is £25 per unit, with the total scope determined by the agreed-upon sampling plan.

Payment Structure:
A 50% retainer of the agreed payment is paid upfront. The remaining 50% is released once the IQA work is successfully passed and verified by an External Quality Assurer (EQA) visit, scheduled for 7th August.

Nature of Work:
This is a project-based freelance position focused on providing internal quality assurance for our Level 3 Digital programmes.

Platform:
All learner work is managed via Moodle, our Learning Management System. Complete training on the platform will be provided.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support our Level 3 Digital programmes. This key project-based role requires a professional dedicated to upholding the highest standards of assessment and quality assurance. You will be responsible for undertaking internal verification to ensure consistency and compliance with the awarding organisation requirements (Gateway).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal verification (IQA) of assessment practices and decisions, providing supportive feedback to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all IQA activities meet the learner’s needs and exceed the requirements of the awarding body.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and GDPR-compliant records for all assessment and IQA activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Essential

  • IQA Qualification.
  • Qualification or deep occupational competence in Digital Marketing, Social Media for E-Commerce, or Project Management at Level 3 or above.
  • Proven experience in assessing and internally verifying vocational qualifications in a closely related digital field.
  • Demonstrable experience with project management principles (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and social media strategy, including SEO and campaign tracking.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of Data Protection/GDPR and Safeguarding practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a freelance environment.

Desirable

  • Previous experience of IQA’ing the Gateway Level 3 Social Media for E-Commerce qualification.
