If you’re looking to start a career in Teaching Support then our Skills Bootcamps are for you. Created with input from schools and supported by Greater Manchester Combined Authority, these flexible 12 week courses give people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.
This course is 100% online but you must attend regular scheduled live lessons as this is a practical course where you’ll need to follow our tutors instructions to complete each module.

Is there a cost?
Our Skills Bootcamps in Teaching Support are available at no cost to all eligible adults, within the communities they serve, including those employed, not in work or self-employed as they’re funded by Greater Manchester Combined Authority as part of the Skills For Life Campaign.
Entry Requirements
- Adults aged 19 over on 31st August 2023
- Open to those who are unemployed, employed or self-employed.
- Live or work in Greater Manchester
- Right to work in the UK
- An adult must generally only undertake one skills bootcamp per funding year

Is there any cost involved?
Our courses are available at no cost to you because they’re government funded (subject to eligibility). This means you can start your career without any costs.
Do I need any experience?
This is an intensive 12 week programme that will give you an insight and understanding into a number of Teaching Support roles and does not require any placements or former experience.
Do i need to attend in person?
The course is 100% online and does not require you to attend a centre. However, the sessions are live so you will need to be available for these at the times shown in the schedule.
