We’re offering a free Customer Service course starting on 11th March taking place at our Wolverhampton centre. The five-day course is great for anyone wanting to start a career in the sector.
Why it’s great to work in customer service
A customer service job will equip you with so many transferable skills from how to deal with tricky customers to the ability to work towards goals. According to Salesforce it costs up to 16 times more to bring in a new customer compared to keeping hold of an existing one so the importance of customer service in a business is clear to see.
A key part of the sector is helping others which brings the feel good factor. Whether it be helping someone understand their electricity bill or helping a customer return a product, nothing beats the satisfaction of solving a problem for them.
There’s also the ability to progress in your role and a large proportion of customer service departments are set out in a way that means promotion is highly achievable for the right person. So, if progression is important to you then starting a career in customer service could be just what you’ve been looking for.
