Coming this February, we are running a variety of workshops and courses to help boost your chances of finding work.
Our courses are designed to give learners the confidence and skills to apply for jobs independently and give them sector-specific qualifications.
We will be offering functional skills (Maths, English and IT) and pre-employment training in the form of one-week workshops in the following;

Our free one-week course is the ideal place for someone thinking of working in the Warehousing & Storage sector for the first time.
It provides learners with all the skills they need to work in the industry and qualifications which are sure to catch the eye of an employer.
The course will be delivered over one week running between 9:30 am – 3:30 pm every day and learners will receive a Level 1 certificate in Warehousing and Storage at the end of the course.
Starting Monday 18th January we will run a one-week Care workshop aimed at people who want to pursue a career in the sector.
This workshop also includes a DBS certificate, which is a requirement for anyone who wants to work in Care.
The workshop gives learners the opportunity to gain valuable qualifications covering various aspects of the industry. It includes understanding the values and responsibilities of a social care worker, the different job roles available in care, and the different communication skills needed in the sector.
The course will be delivered over one week running between 9:30 am – 3:30 pm every day and is made up of the following:

Business admin is a wide field that incorporates many types of management positions. It is a growing sector, increasing by 3% since 2017 and more then 1,500 jobs have been advertised in Stockport alone.
Our workshop will start on Monday 28th January and last for one week. The training package is aimed at people who have little or no work experience in the sector, so it is the ideal starting point for anyone that is looking for a career in Administration.
