Functional Skills Maths Course

Having your Functional Skills Maths (or GCSE equivalent) qualification is vital for many careers and could help you to progress into the career you want, as many careers require a basic level of maths and English, including nursing, teaching, policing, and the fire service.

Your Functional Skills qualification will also enable you to continue your education as it is a requirement for many further education courses, especially at degree level.

Our functional skills courses are accessible online at any time to suit your needs however there are two mandatory live sessions per week so you can receive advice from the tutor and discuss how we can further support you to gain your qualification.

    A Hi Matthew, Thank you for getting in touch. When you first apply for a course you are required to do an initial assessment. These assessments are the same for both Level 1&2, when you have done the assessment we decide which level course you would be best on. The 2 live sessions are done online. Hope this helps.     A Hi Tracy, Thank you for getting in touch. Eligibility depends on what region you are in and your age. Age wise as long as you are 19+ if you have an existing L2 qualification or 24+ otherwise you will be eligible in that regard. The application tells you whether you are eligible or not as you are filling it out. The course is online and so is the exam. I hope this helps. Think Employment

Here is the link for the self funded Level 2 Maths course: https://www.thinkonlinetraining.com/product/functional-skills-maths-level-2-online-course/ It is equivalent to a GCSE Maths qualification.
